The governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, headed the event for the 452nd anniversary of the founding of the city of Santa Fe, held at the Archaeological Park 'Ruins of Santa Fe La Vieja' in Cayastá, the original site of the provincial capital. During the event, Pullaro expressed 'the enormous honor of being the governor of the Invincible province of Santa Fe, which has given so much to the Argentine Republic,' followed by a historical overview and highlighting the figure of Brigadier Estanislao López, who 'knew that this province had to lead the battle for federalism. We have a rich history that makes us protagonists of the past and the present. It is the province that today has the historical responsibility of leading the change that must come to our country.' Pullaro emphasized that 'there is no way Argentina can move forward if it cannot produce more, generate employment and economic growth, so that from that place we can be the tractor that changes this country, which is full of deep inequalities; because our history places us in a leading role at this moment, for what we have given to Argentina, but fundamentally for what we have to give it.' Finally, the Santa Fe governor stated: 'Once again we will be fighting for what we want, not with armies, but with dialogue and the tools that democracy gives us in our country.' Vice Governor Gisela Scaglia noted that 'this land has a special significance, we are in the place where everything begins, the beginning of our province and our capital city. We have an extremely rich history that we will defend, and more importantly, a beautiful history that we will honor.' She added, 'Together we are going to show that Santa Fe changes and improves every day, that we are going to defend federalism, strengthen the educational system, and continue to fight mafias, organized crime, and violence.' Scaglia also mentioned the government's work on strengthening infrastructure, including the Santa Fe-Santo Tomé bridge, the third lane of the highway, the third lane between Reconquista and Avellaneda, the Venado Tuerto bypass, and the Rafaela Regional Hospital, the most modern and technologically advanced in the Argentine Republic.
